Description: The British held Kurkuch only for a few days in 1918. This film shows British soldiers of 38th Brigade entering the town, followed by a number of soldiers being decorated by the commander of III Corps, Lieutenant-General Sir E G Egerton, in the square at Kurkuch, focusing on an Indian Cavalry officer at the end of the line. The film ends with more British troops marching into Kurkuch, and with a panorama of the town and the interior of the bazaar.
